Usk Show 2010

Usk Show is one of the largest one-day Agricultural Shows in Wales, and always takes place on the second Saturday of September. Next year it will be held on Saturday 8th September, at Usk Showground in the beautiful Usk Valley - home to Ryder Cup Wales 2010.

The Show is a magnificent day out for all the family combining entertainment and fun, with the opportunity to see first hand the many aspects ofcountry life and farming.

We have a splendid livestock section, showcasing Monmouthshires finest cattle, sheep, pigs and goats.

We have a very large Horse and Showjumping section as well as small animals, Vintage and Steam, Homecrafts and Horticulture and

Attractions in the

Main and Countryside Rings.

Usk Show has over 200 outside Trade Stands, selling everything from Tractors, outdoor clothing, garden bulbs, jewellery and crafts.

There are around 100 Traders under canvass, selling gifts and

tasty local food etc

Every year hundreds of businesses take the opportunity to showcase themselves to an audience of up to 20,000 visitors.

Usk Show is one of the main events in the local calendar.

The day starts soon after 7 am, with exhibitors busy arranging their displays and animals, and the day ends just before dark, with a Hot Air Balloon ascent.

There will be plenty of free parking, free shuttle busses from Usk and a free Park and Ride service from Usk College from 9am until 6pm

Scooters and Wheelchairs can be pre-booked to use on Showday.

Dogs are allowed, though we would prefer you to leave them comfortably at home, and away from the crowds.
