THE SHOWGROUND WILL BE USED BY STAFF WORKING FOR  RYDER CUP AT THE CELTIC MANOR RESORT.

YOU WILL NO DOUBT HAVE NOTICED THAT THE SITE HAS BECOME VERY SECURE.

The predicted traffic flows at  Usk Showground are not likely to cause a problem with staff arriving early, 5am, and leaving late during the day along with a number staying either on site or nearby. However, it is predicted that the Llanwern Park & Ride site is likely to be used by a large number of visitors during the event arriving from over the Severn Bridge. Although this is expected to lead to traffic queuing back towards the M4, again the arrival and departure times are likely to be outside the normal peak morning and evening travel time, which will hopefully avoid significant disruption to the local communities.

THE PUBLIC CARPARK AT LLANWERN WILL ACCOMODATE 12,000 CARS, AND TREDEGAR HOUSE CARPARK WILL ACCOMODATE AROUND 3,000 CARS.
